What is an App Store subscription?
An App Store subscription is a variant purchased via the App Store directly. It comes with a limit of one Editor per Workspace, but you can still use real-time collaboration by inviting other people as ‘Guests’ (referred to as ‘Guest Editors’) to join your Workspace’s projects or documents using the email address associated with their active Sketch subscription.
Please note that you don’t get a license key when you purchase an App Store subscription, but you’d need to use your Apple Account and password to sign in.

How can I purchase an App Store subscription?
To purchase Sketch through the App Store, please follow the below steps:
- Open your App Store, search for Sketch, hover the mouse over Get, and click on the Install button.
- Once you’ve installed the Mac app, launch the Mac app and click on Start Free 30-day Trial button.
- Enter your name, email address and password. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy policy box and click Sign Up.
- Once your account is created and your email address verified, you can Sign in on the Sketch app. Then, click on Subscribe button on the top right to and select your preferred plan (Yearly or Monthly).
- Sign in prompt will ask you to fill in your Apple Account and password. Enter your details and click on Buy button.
Where can I see purchase history tied to my App Store subscription?
All App Store payments are handled directly by the Apple. To see your purchase history, please follow the steps below:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple Account and password.
- A list of your recent purchases will appear.
- If you’re not sure what you were charged for but you know the amount of the charge, search for the amount.
- If you’re looking for information about older purchases, find your purchase history in Settings or Account Settings on your device.
Do you offer refunds for App Store subscriptions?
Please contact Apple Support directly. They will be able to help further with your refund request.
How can I cancel my App Store subscription?
To cancel the subscription you purchased from the App Store, please follow the steps below:
- Open the App Store.
- Click your name on the bottom left (if you can’t find your name, click on Sign In) and then click Account Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage.
- Next to the Sketch subscription, click Edit.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
