3.2 Viewing documents in the web app

It’s time to take collaboration to the next level. Learn how to navigate a document, add comments and share it with other people. We’ll also explore how to inspect and download assets for a smooth developer handoff.

Some UI in this video is outdated as of September 2024 — no worries, this doesn’t affect how things work. We’ll share an updated version soon!

Key learnings

  • If a document has multiple Pages, you can navigate from Page to Page using the web app’s left sidebar.

  • To view the details of a particular Artboard, double-click on the Artboard.

  • Use the Comment tab in the right sidebar to add and view comments. Enable notifications for new replies so you never miss out.

  • Developers can use the web app Inspector to select and measure between layers on Artboards, view and copy layer attributes and values, and download production-ready assets.
