# How can I apply a discount code?

## Applying a discount code for subscriptions

If you’re signing up for a subscription, you’ll need to:

1. Go to our [sign up page](/signup/) and [create your Workspace](/docs/getting-started/setting-up-sketch/).
1. Click on the **Settings** icon at the top of the left sidebar, then click on **Billing**. From there, click on the **Set Up a Subscription** button.
1. Enter your code in the **Discount code** field and click **Apply** — the discount will be applied.
1. Proceed to complete the payment process.

If you’re reactivating your expired or cancelled subscription: [sign in to your web app](/signin/), go to **Settings > Billing** and click **Subscribe**. Enter your code in the **Discount code** field, click **Apply** and proceed with the payment — this will reactivate your subscription with the discount applied.

## Applying a discount code for Mac-only licenses

When purchasing a Mac-only license with a discount code:

1. [Go to the Pricing page](/pricing/), and click on the **Buy now** button under the **Mac-only license** banner.
1. Enter your email address and select **Continue**.
1. Under **Licenses**, change the quantity to the number of seats you need (one seat per device).
1. Click on **Enter promotion code** and enter the discount code.
1. Add your shipping information and credit card details to complete the checkout.

You can also apply the discount if you’re renewing your license. Enter your **SK3 key** on the [License page](/license/) and click the **Renew** button in the **Manage license** section to continue.
