Share your Sketch documents by copying a link or inviting people via email. You can also copy a link to a specific page, frame, or Canvas position.

> **Note:** Anyone you invite can view, comment on, and inspect documents from any browser for free — they just need a Sketch account first.

From the Workspace window, right-click any document and select **Copy Link** to copy its URL to your clipboard.

In an open document, click the Share icon in the top-right corner of the Toolbar and select **Copy Link** to copy the document’s URL to your clipboard.

> **Note:** You can find both **Copy Link** and **Share Settings** in the menu bar under **File**.

Any time you copy a link, a new version of the document saves automatically — so anyone who follows it sees the latest design in the web app. This doesn’t affect starred versions that Viewers and Guests in your Workspace see.

**Copy a link to a page or frame**

Press <kbd>⇧</kbd><kbd>⌘</kbd><kbd>C</kbd> to copy a link to the current page. If you have a single top-level frame selected, the shortcut copies a link to that frame instead.

Open a document, click the **Share** button, then click **Copy Link** in the panel to copy the document link. From the same panel, you can invite people by email to edit or view the document, and choose what permissions anyone with the link has.

### How to share your position on Canvas

To share a Canvas position, open the document in the web app, zoom and pan to the area you want to share, then right-click and select **Copy Link from Position**. This copies a URL to your clipboard that preserves the exact position and zoom level, which you can paste into an email or message.

## Custom og:image

To create a custom `og:image` for your document, add a page named **Cover** and create a frame with the same name inside it using a **16:9 aspect ratio**. The contents of this frame appear as the preview image when the document is shared.

> **Note:** We cache `og:images` for **24 hours**. If you update your cover frame, changes may take up to a day to appear when sharing. Social networks may also cache their own versions on different schedules, so updates might not appear immediately across all platforms.
