# Data

The Data tab lets you manage, enable, disable, and add data sources that you can use across your documents.

1. **Toggle visibility** of your data sources using the checkboxes. This is useful when managing multiple sources.
1. **Control-clicking** a data source opens options to show it in Finder, remove it, or display any connected Data plugins (not available for built-in plugins).
1. **The menu** offers the same actions for the selected data source as control-clicking it.
1. **Add Data** lets you add data sources from anywhere on your computer using the standard macOS open dialog. You can also drag data sources directly into the Settings window.
1. **Help** opens the [data documentation](/docs/designing/data/) page.
