# Setting up SAML SSO

Here’s a quick guide on how to set up SAML SSO both in your Identity Provider (IdP) and in your Workspace.

If you already have a Workspace, make sure SSO is available for setup by clicking on the Settings icon at the the top of the sidebar, then clicking on the Single Sign-On option. If you’re creating a new Workspace, you can make SSO available by adding your credit card info, and selecting [Professional plan](/support/subscriptions/professional/).

These are the **three steps** that you’ll need to follow to set up SAML SSO:

1. [Choose a shortname and gather the information to set up SSO in your IdP](/docs/getting-started/single-sign-on/setting-up-saml-sso/choose-a-shortname/): first, you’ll need to go to your Workspace Settings, where we’ll give you the setup values you’ll need to configure your IdP.
1. Once you have the values, you’ll need to [set up SAML SSO in your IdP](/docs/getting-started/single-sign-on/setting-up-saml-sso/setup-identity-provider/) — you’ll find the instructions to do so for different IdP providers below.
1. Lastly, you’ll need to [finish setting up SAML SSO in your Workspace](/docs/getting-started/single-sign-on/setting-up-saml-sso/finish-setting-saml-sso/). You’ll have to import the IdP metadata that you got in the previous step in Sketch.
